Summary
An abyss — a starless reflection at the bottom of an ocean, cold and thin, rapidly cooling down the burning red from a death sentence made just for him. A creature, gold coloured eyes burning up in the darkness, a sudden pull of a string, then a brand new, frightening world. Something so different from what he knew and yet so similar — past mixed with future, a ground to stay tethered with and constant, bustling life; yet a wasteland of what once was, abandoned and decaying. All he has to do now is continue to survive. And to finally earn his freedom to live.
[Aka I throw Simon from Iron Lung into the Rain World universe because this is what happens when two hyperfixations smash together. Sorry for the short and messy summary I don’t know what to write down.]

Summary
The Council makes a deal with the fabled God Dream for his assistance in defeating his tyrant God twin, Nightmare. However, Dream will not help them for free; he locks eyes with Cross, and decides he wants him in exchange for the war victory. It's an easy decision, is it not?
There's just one problem with this arrangement: Cross is a spy, sent by Nightmare himself. And Nightmare is absolutely unforgiving of traitors. But he cannot offend Dream, for he too is an Immortal. He cannot forget how dangerous they both are, how any wrong move will end in his demise or worse.
(Cross forgets, however, that he himself is mortal.)
[OR: A Empire/Kingdoms UTMV AU, where Cross is caught between the crossfire of Immortal/Gods! Dreamtale Twins. Who have also been influenced by God!Ink and God!Error; it's a cycle, really.]

Summary
The Narrator is about to speak his usual line about choosing the left door when something unexpected happens, causing Stanley to accidentally reveal that he's been able to talk this entire time.
The Narrator doesn't take it well, and Stanley is left to deal with the fallout that follows.
