He’d always imagined se would be just a one-night stand; he never imagined (not even in his wildest dreams) that the woman he slept with would stay by his side, asking him how he felt and if she’d done it right, and that made his chest tighten. He should have kicked her out. Just fu her and tell her it was time to go their separate ways, not let her cling to a relationship that not even Jax understood. Not because of her. She wasn’t the problem. She never would be, by the love of any god who could hear him (and he definitely wasn’t referring to that idiot Caine).
The problem was him. It always had been.

Summary
Pomni, despite everything, has settled into a routine amidst the constant daily cacophony and chaos of the digital circus, one she desperately keeps to preserve that fragile, ever-doubtful shred of humanity that still manages to exist within her. She tries to, anyway, even if certain bunny-eared castmates were seemingly determined to do everything in their power to disturb said routine, and make her wonder whether the urge to fight to keep something genuine alive in a fake, plastic world is really worth it after all.
When Caine's newest adventure sends the troupe on a ski resort day trip, she may finally have the opportunity to get some of the answers she's been waiting for. Whether they'll be exactly what she's been hoping for, however, is another question entirely.
Or, the one where Jax and Pomni have another fight, get stuck on a ski lift, and things pretty much spiral from there.

'Pomni' is Christine, an office worker living in the city, and 'Jax' is Felix, a guy just trying to find his next job, or better yet, a bed that isn't a couch.
As they're trying to return to the lives they had before, the last thing they expected was to crash into each other in the street.
