“You’ve gone mad,” Yoongi hisses, face flushed pink as he shakes with both rage and fear. “Absolutely fucking mad.”
Jungkook knows. His curiosity is madness, and his love for the sea makes him reckless. He doesn’t care either way.
“I’m going to be the first one to find the Siren and vanquish it once and for all,” Jungkook says, arms crossed. Smiles, the challenge echoed by his heart. “I’m going to be the first one to come back home alive.”
On his nineteenth Name Day, Jungkook becomes an apprentice under the traveller trade to be closer to the seas he loves. A year later, he learns of the Siren at the Sea that terrorises the sea routes of all travellers. Mystified by the myth and grappling with his thirst for adventure, he sets to find the mythical monster and do what no one else has ever done: find it, survive its wrath and come back home– alive.

We’re so sorry. If you need get away for awhile, you’re always welcome to come stay with us - JH. He wonders now if Hoseok was surprised when he said yes. If Hoseok only extended the invitation because he didn’t think Namjoon would actually come.
