Summary
Fount paces around the halls of the Spire, leaving behind knocked paintings and shattered vases in his wake. He is nothing short of furious.
He was turning himself into someone else just to satisfy the cookies. And it felt liberating because for once, his efforts were exchanged with smiles and gratitude instead of doubt. He hates that thought. He was baked for one purpose, the Witch of Light said it herself. She’s disappointed. He thinks for the fifth time, why else would She have stopped answering his prayers? The Fount played the wrong role and now She’s going to punish him.
An explosion cuts through his thoughts. He finds himself immediately twisting the spire to find where it could’ve been from, it wasn’t that hard of a task. A door materializes on the wall he’s facing.
…Maybe just this once, he can play a different role.

It’s no surprise he’d know which state to go in, Achilles is practically the face of Illinois and a few others he doesn’t pay attention to, but how the hell did he know where to find his specific location? He barely hangs around the club enough for people to call it his regular spot. “If you’re trying to woo me, you’re terrible at it and I’m not open for suitors at the moment.”
“So I see.” Poseidon looks around the room in not-so-subtle disgust. “But I’m one of the biggest celebrities, love, I can get anyone I want.”

Summary
Zagreus finds himself brought to the same desolate area that the shade of Patroclus was usually, always in. And just like the previous times, he finds him sitting alone near a stream of the river Lethe talking to himself, occasionally about the gods, or his regrets.
Patroclus decides to open up, there is nothing at all he could do other than that. Plus, Zagreus is willing to listen.
