In the middle of July, on an unusually hot day, as the sun had started to set, he had been overtaken by a sudden urge for movement. Maybe it was the heat, or the boring day at work, or the fact that he was alone in the tiny apartment. Whatever it was, it had fueled him.
So, when the sky was all pink and blue he had walked out the door with a vague half-formed idea about exploring. He had found an unmarked door that led up some steps and opened up onto cracked concrete, rumbling vent fans and a rooftop that was about to change his life.
That, he thinks, taking another sip of his still-scalding latte, is probably where it all began.

Percy Jackson had enjoyed his years as a young half-blood in retrospect, really. Saving the world at least once a year was tiring, but at least it had been exciting.
Then he grew up - sorta. He went to college, had his own apartment, picked up his little sister from school every now and then, the mortal life.
Then he got shot on a hijacked city bus, and because of his stupid hero complex, now he's stuck fifteen years in the past, faced with the choice of either completely changing past events, or just repeating history.Yeah this is basically abandoned. If you're cool with not really seeing and ending then go ahead and keep reading but I'm kinda done with this. And writing in general, lol. Sorry, But I've just lost interest - and I'd originally planned on not even posting the first part of this cause it was just my own shitty little fix-it.
