    The Quen are struggling after a heavy storm floods Fleet's End and have to evacuate to Landfall to reunite with the other half of the fleet. Seyka has no time to decide what she wants as she helps her tribe recover. She finds herself grieving what they have lost along the journey - what she herself has lost as she doesn't know where she belongs anymore. And the one who made Seyka realize this has continued on, to fight bigger threats, to save the world. Until one day she hasn't, and Seyka meets Aloy at Landfall. When the one she has been longing for turns out to be a living ancestor Seyka has to decide if she can trust her instincts. At the same time, Aloy is on a journey to find herself and has to make choices between her heart and her purpose.

    A getaway to a solitary island with the two of them grows into a burning need.
