Gwen's hand froze mid-motion. The hotdog hovering close to her mouth. "Homecoming. As in a dance?" She murmured.
"Yeah, so do you wanna go with me?" He asked, his voice filled with hope and nervousness.
She took a bite of her hot dog, slowly chewing as she studied Miles. His big brown eyes were pleading, making it hard for her to say no. But a doubt crept in: what if something went wrong?
