The Hales are this world’s Romanov family, but the Stilinski family is the ones that faithfully protected them. The Hales felt the Stilinski's were basically an extended part of the family. Peter was always fond of Stiles. So when the Argents attacked, Peter got Stiles out but lost track of her in the mass panic. Stiles lost her memory of ever living with the Hales. She still had a burning need to get to Paris. Peter never made it to Paris, he hides who he is, his face is burned so it helps him hide, he becomes bitter over the years because the brightest thing to him is gone. Until one day a young lad comes into his life, he reminds Peter so much about his beautiful Mieczyslawa that he begins to feel conflicted about whether he can have happiness if it isn’t with the one person he was supposed to end up with.

They were the last - and the enemy was still coming. Peter's gaze, chilled, savage, half dead already, turned to Stiles.
"Go. I'll hold them off."
They were the last. And if Stiles had a chance of seeing this through, he'd have to accept the wolf's sacrifice.
One last smile, and it was the first true smile Stiles had seen on that face - fondness, warmth, humor, a depth of emotion Stiles could fathom seeing on that face. Peter's eyes, glowing wolf red - an alpha again, an alpha of ash-killed land and constant winter, and severed bonds - warmed. "It's always been you, sweetheart."
Too many messages in those stilted words. Too much left unsaid. Too much left undone.
"Find me, when you go back. Its the only thing I ask."
"I can't leave you."
"Yes, you can. There's nothing here to leave, sweetheart."
Cracking branches, the thud of roughshod feet running their way. Their brief respite was over. They were the last, and Peter was sacrificing himself so Stiles could escape. Fuck.

Summary
They make out for God knows how long, because time seemed to stop for Stiles ever since he met this man. He finds himself getting lost in the moon light and his touch. He has never felt anything like this, such euphoria that no drug has ever given him.
He wonders if Peter feels the same, or if this is just another hookup. Stiles wants to make it not so obvious that this is his first time doing anything like this.
Or; One intense encounter with Peter leaves Stiles confused, exhilarated, and wanting more from this mysterious blue-eyed man.

Drawn to Beacon Hills by a thriving Nemeton, Stiles is hopeful that he and his daughter may have finally found someplace to call home. Alexa is finally old enough to start school in the fall and Stiles has found a surprising contentment in running his little coffee shop. He’s not expecting to grow so attached to his two teenaged employees, nor the sudden desire to open up their little pack of two after so many years of being on their own.
There’s a lot more to this werefox than meets the eye, and the more Peter unravels the mystery of his past, the more intrigued he becomes. No matter what happens next, everything is about to change.
