Summary
When five-year-old Jayce asks Santa Claus to bring him a boyfriend for Christmas, Santa tells him that it just won't be possible, not for years and years, thereby confirming Jayce's suspicions that Santa isn't real. A real Santa, he reasons, could do anything,, even bring Jayce's destined true love to him.
But perhaps young Jayce's heartbreak is premature, and perhaps Santa's Workshop is even weirder and more wonderful than Jayce could know. Twenty years later, he wakes up Christmas morning to find a man in his mother's kitchen who claims to be his boyfriend wish come true. Viktor was, he explains to Jayce, literally created to be Jayce's soulmate.
Which, Jayce realizes, means that Viktor had no choice in the matter.

Silco regards him for some time, his mismatched eyes disconcertingly sharp before he challenges, “What if I said I wanted you to abdicate the Beast Lord title to me?”
“Done,” Vander snorts, staring up at him. “You’d get all the different clans challenging you, but I assume you have a plan for that. And afterwards—I’d hope you’d listen to advice. Not start another war we can’t win.”
“I’m not starting anything, I just have to scare them until they no longer want to set foot in our territory,” Silco murmurs, letting go of Vander’s chin and then running his fingers down Vander’s beard and then down his throat. “I don’t want to be Beast Lord though—too much trouble. Why bother with all those challengers when if you made me Consort, no one would dare challenge me at all?”
Or out of options to save his children from the humans, wolf shifter and Beast Lord Vander comes to find his former mate, shark shifter Silco for help. Silco is willing to help under certain conditions; namely, that Vander marries him and makes him Consort over the Pack.

Summary
Jayce is having the worst day of his life when he saves an injured cat and brings it home.
Except the cat is, in fact, a shapeshifting spirit (and also a drop dead gorgeous man), who claims that he's now bound to Jayce until he can repay his debt to Jayce for saving his life.
"Where's my— the cat?"
"I'm the cat," the man says, matter-of-factly with a confused tilt of his head. The angular ears swivel and flick as if to emphasize his point, and the dark tail makes itself known by waving in front of Jayce's vision, then wrapping itself around Jayce's wrist in a gentle coil.
Soft and fluffy, but ticklish, just like his cat should be.
"Uh," Jayce says in response. The man is obviously sporting the same ears and tail, but the whole situation makes no sense. "How…?"
