In this Alternate Universe, the Bat Family is put through the trials of helping their family members through the tragedies, abuses, and dangers they run, all the while protecting their city.
Whether saving Jason from the madness of the Lazarus Pit, Tim from the abuse of his parents, Stephanie from the danger of her dad, or Damian from the indoctrination of Talia, the Bat Family refuses to give up on each other. They refuse to let each other go.
I am marking this complete. The stories are separate stories in full and while I have ideas for sequels, they won't be happening anytime soon.- Words:

Neither Jason nor Damian ever head to Gotham, never leave Talia, and instead develop a dangerous bond as Damian grows older. With the world his for the taking, Damian is expected to lead and eventually conquer. When Damian is sent to Gotham to kill the Bat, undoubtedly his greatest challenge, he’ll have to decide if being king atop a lonely hill is really what he wants. As for Jason, he’ll come to the conclusion that burning bridges and turning his back on a life taken from him isn’t nearly as easy as it sounds.

Summary
In a world where Batman never adopted a Robin, we see what happens to Dick, Jason and Tim since they were never taken in and saved. The Court of Owls snatch Dick from the circus and forge him into the deadly assassin Talon; Jason pretty much stays the same and becomes the biggest crime lord of Gotham for the sake of twisted justice; Tim...without a Robin to idolize and the Batman to train him, the loneliness of his broken home get to him and he becomes a runaway with a camera. In other words, Tim uses his undisciplined, unmatched espionage skills and digs up dirt on anyone that he desires or is paid to investigate. So what happens when Talon gets a hit on the Red Hood and needs the help of an undercover, free-loading spy? Watch and find out.

Tim knows Gotham. He knows it from behind a lens. He knows it through school and clicks, and peer pressure from his parents to do well so he could 'be something' in the future. Tim knew he was genius level with his intelligence, and yet he could easily trip over his own shoelaces and blush something embarrassing if he was caught in the perfect tease. Tim saw muggings, and blood-- he knew what the insides of a human looked like after someone gutted them, and he knew the exact smile someone made when they were in love and getting married. He saw lies. He saw hatred. He saw happiness-- the real kind that showed up on a kids face when their mom decided to buy all the kids in the park ice cream. Tim knew by way of the Earth's rotations he was only a teenager. But he couldn't help but feel like he was seeing all there was in life in regards to humanity.
Maybe that was why this watch and the magic it was using to bring Jason's soul back to Earth was so maddening.

"What is the Root of Your Fear-- Jason Todd?"
It's been five years since Jason came back to life. He is back in Gotham full time after some time with Roy and Starfire lead to him getting sick and needing Tim's assistance to figure out why. The Joker, in the meantime, has secretly established a horrific game to toy with the bat family. There are many pieces to the clowns' elaborate puzzle. Leading them down many wrong paths and igniting heated arguments. Only Jason can work out what the Joker actually wants, but it means he has to deal with facing his trauma of being murdered. Caught up in it all, Jason makes some disastrous choices leading to a showdown with the clown and death on Jason's mind.
