Summary
A future chained to a stranger.
He didn’t even lift his head when he reached the altar, his gaze fixed on the floor like it held answers to the mess his life had become.
Only when the officiant spoke, prompting them to exchange vows, did Joshua finally glance up.
And then the air was sucked right out of his lungs.
Standing in front of him with calmness, sharp-suited, unreadable was Yoon Jeonghan.
His knees nearly buckled.
No. This couldn’t be real.
His father had described the man he’d be marrying as a powerful business tycoon—wealthy, politically connected, ruthless in boardrooms. Not… him.
Not the same Jeonghan who wore round glasses too big for his face, who sat in the back of every class scribbling in notebooks, who rotated between the same two hoodies for most of high school. Not the Jeonghan who had no friends, no voice, who walked like he was afraid to exist.
Not the Jeonghan Joshua used to bully.

Summary
and the thing is—yoon jeonghan is awful. he’s weird and quirky and unpredictable. he’s alarmingly honest and too interested in joshua, in his life, in the stuff he likes. he doesn’t judge him. he asks questions. he looks at joshua’s mouth for too long, always. he wears sweatshirts that have dogs on them. his car keys have four different rabbit keychains on it. he tells joshua he likes his smile and he means it, which joshua only knows because he’s said it multiple times now. mushy. annoying.
weird.

Summary
From the corner of his eyes, he catches his dressing table, where the full-length mirror remained. For a solid minute, Jeonghan remains frozen, widened eyes staring at his reflection. Tentatively, he walks up to where the mirror is displayed.
The person standing before him in the mirror is him but also not at the same time. That freshly cut brown hair is definitely not what he had when he died, he remembers his hair black and short. The scar he got 2 years ago on his neck is not there — his skin looks clearer, eyes younger, more youthful.
His hand shakily reaches up to touch his face, softly touching it at his cheeks as he examines his face. No scar, his hand wraps itself around his neck and he gasps — the touch is not tight, but he can still feel it, the feeling of Joshua’s hand on his neck lingering there. He feels slight hollowness where he had been stabbed yet there’s no pain.
By some twisted turns of fates, it seems, he has travelled back in time. Almost a decade back to the day of his and Joshua's wedding. Curse his fucking life.
The morning after Jeonghan dies, he wakes up in the body of his 23 years old self.

Summary
…Went on an unexpected trip to Italy in his early twenties, it reads, where the owner learned from artisans how to make handmade pasta of various styles. Finding himself searching for home away from home, Joshua Hong recalled his mother’s recipes before using his newfound skills to create a combination of classic Korean meals and Italian fine dining.
Very dramatic, all things considered. Sounds like a whole load of shit, too, but Jeonghan’s not saying that out loud in an empty restaurant.
