Summary
What should have been just another night at Satine’s place of work ends up being anything but as two customers arrive at the brothel and turn her world upside down. One is physically desirable yet a financial risk. The other man has the money to give her the financial security she so desperately craves, but what he wants in return is no small ask.
It isn’t long before Satine finds herself tangled up in a triangle of sorts—caught between a man she doesn’t know how to safely extricate herself from who seems determined to break her mind and body—and another man who swears not to hurt her, but is entirely capable of breaking her heart.

Summary

I'm going to try and write a prompt each day, we'll see how I do! I wanted to write drabbles but the more realistic goal I have set for myself is 1k or less per fic (we know how wordy I am)!
*UPDATE 10/2/24*: I am removing the word count limitation. The idea behind it was to prevent myself from turning everything into a novel and keep me from spending too long on a fic, but it's taking me twice as long to pare it down as it is to write the fic in the first place, so it isn't serving its purpose. I will try my best to write short, delete what I can, and you all will get the rest. Since you're reading this, I assume you don't mind my wordiness so I think we'll be alright.

A series examining Satine and Christian's relationship through scenes primarily revolving around their sex life. The fics are going to be grouped by pairs of opposite one-word themes. They will be posted in the order I write them, and series order will be roughly chronological (which will be different from the theme pairings). They are listed below as pairs. You can read them in any order you wish as they're all interconnected.
All are Satine POV. Some fics may or may not include Christian. Some fics may include Satine/the Duke (and for that you can blame the show). They'll all be tagged accordingly.

The friendship that should've happened in canon with a queer twist. Starts at some vague point in early season 2 and goes AU from there. Title taken from Fun Home (the musical).

Summary
Hi and happy pride month!! I am setting a goal for myself of posting a (short) queer fic (or chapter of a fic) every day this month as part of a series for Pride. If you like my work and have something you want to see me write, I’m taking requests for this month! Drop by my tumblr and send me an ask!
Some of these fics are intended to be oneshots, but others I would love to revisit and write more for some day. If you enjoy a certain fic and would like to read more, please be sure to leave a comment and let me know!
6/10/23 Update!: I decided to cut my goal in half: 15 fics/30 days. Posting a fic a day was manageable, but scrambling to write a oneshot every day was getting in the way of my ability to work on my longer fics and that was starting to get frustrating. I guess technically I lost my self-imposed challenge, but this helped get out of a writing slump which was my main goal, so honestly I feel like a winner regardless!
6/30/23 Update!: I met my (updated) goal!! I still have some requests to fill so I'll add them to this series as I post so people can find them!
