Summary
Shadow Milk looked down, his stuttered breath hitching as he gazed dazedly at the serrated blade that had impaled him.
His hands found their ways up to his wound, fingers shakily enclosing the blade. The sword was pulled back from his stomach with a wet splutter, before jam started flowing from the wound.
In the distance, he could hear the muffled sound of shouting as the battle against Dark Enchantress went on around him. On his dough, he could feel the discomfort of the grime and sweat that was layered on his skin.
Most prominently, however, he could feel his guts spilling out of the gaping hole in his abdomen. Suddenly, he found himself no longer able to breathe. Jam filled his lungs as he inhaled, a wet gurgle emitted as he choked on his own jam.
And for the first time in a while, he felt fear.

It seemed like madness, and maybe it was, but as the array lay before her, at long last complete - she did not care. Soon she would have all the time she would ever need.
When Pure Vanilla wakes up, he is met with a world that is not quite right, a world that is still young. Terror for the world he left behind fills him as he tries to navigate the world that currently is. From the second he wakes up, he has been trying to get back, a decision that only grows more painful the more time passes.
