Jisung is silent for a moment, eyes quizzical as he searches Minho's face for any hint of a joke. When he finds nothing, he huffs exasperatedly. "You're being serious." A statement, not a question.

That unique lemon scent sharpens in Minho’s nose, thick on his tongue. He hums curiously, his hand making a slow descent down the expanse of Jeongin’s back. From the widest point of his shoulders to the handsome taper of his waist, following the curve of his spine like a map. Jeongin shivers when Minho slips his thumb under the waistband of his boxers, simultaneously arching into and away from the touch like he’s confused. Pushing and pulling two different directions. “Hyung,” he says, voice sticky, half-pleading. Already so embarrassed. He lifts his head up, eyes glazed, pink lips parted. Minho knows what he’ll find if he slides his hand downward- knows what Jeongin is trying and failing to conceal with his begging expression. He pushes his hand under fully to cup his perky ass and immediately feels that he’s wet. Considerably. Soaked, essentially.
“Aegi,” Minho coos, his giddy laugh turning into a wheeze when Jeongin slams his head down to hide his face in his chest with a pitiful whine, “are you still feeling a little worked up?”

"Please," he cried, gasping for air, though he could only breathe in short, shallow breaths. He opened his eyes, finally looking at the face of his captor, and for a moment, everything froze.
The moon-lit face above him was a familiar one. Blood was smeared along a jaw that he knew far too well, more pouring out of a claw mark that freshly broke the honey skin of a strong shoulder. Brown hair that he had fantasized about running his fingers through on multiple occasions was mussed, leaves poking out of it in places.
Warm, dark eyes met his own and Chan's heart skipped a beat. The comforting scent of woodsmoke and honey filled the air around them, and Chan finally relaxed, his heart rate slowing as he breathed in the alpha above him.

For those four days Seungmin sleeps in Hyunjin or Changbin’s bed and he dreams, and he worries, and he itches to run back and at least stand guard, to just do something, but that is far as he is allowed to think and that’s how it’s always been.
Up until now.
There had been no fanfare to the way Minho approached him and rather plainly asked him if he’d like to stick around for their heats. The only indication he’d felt anything other than blasé about it was the way his tail had swished behind him, twitchy, and as for Seungmin he’d immediately spilled his haejangguk all over the counter.
