Kylo took a step forward, broad mask and long robes looming over him, backed by an overwhelming, intangible presence that emitted in waves from Kylo's person wherever he seemed to go. “If it's control you need,” he said as he pressed a gloved thumb through the material of Hux's uniform into one of his fresh wounds, “I can offer it to you. I can offer you more than...whatever it is you presume this gives to you.”

If there was anything remotely positive Hux could say about Ren, it would be that his Life Day gift for his most hardworking co-worker remained consistent and more useful to Hux than anything Ren himself could dream of producing all year.
Every year, after careful consideration and effort put in on Hux’s part to procure a gift for Ren—something useful, of good quality, usually a tool that represented a means of improvement without blatantly highlighting the Supreme Leader’s many shortcomings—Kylo would give him the same item as last year.
Socks.
A single pair of black, mid-shin, knitted socks, of mediocre quality.
No card, no formalities, no theatrics, no wrapping even. Just a simple plain box left on his desk at the beginning of the cycle every Life Day, with two brand new socks stuffed unceremoniously inside.
It was more than Hux could have ever asked of him.

Summary
Hux has never been too proud to fight dirty. He’ll use whichever weapon’s at hand to guarantee victory even if it blasts off his own foot in the process, and he’ll curl his lip just so as he does so his enemies know exactly what he thinks of them. Ren will bleed the Order dry if he’s left unchecked, so Hux will put it out of its misery first. He’ll make sure Ren goes down with it. He knows exactly which weapon will sting the most.
Hux sets out to ruin what’s been stolen from him with the most destructive tool he knows. Like most things involving the Resistance, nothing quite goes to plan.

Summary
During the collapse of Star Killer Base, Snoke's final order to General Hux was to collect Kylo Ren and bring him to the citidel to complete his training. Hux rescues the criticaly injured Ren and the two leave the planet on a private shuttle.
When a rogue resistance fighter takes out the pilot and damages the ship, the two are stranded in the vastness of space. With deminishing air and power Hux tries to fix the ship to save himself and complete his mission. Unfortunately for him theres only one bed aboard the shuttle and Kylo is currently bleeding out all over it.
AKA my wish fulfillment canon compliant fic that doesn't even have a happy ending ft. two idiot virgins.
