"Ooo, Bae come take a look at this!"
It starts with a photo of Flambae cradling Mecha Man's face. They look like they're in love - they're not.
Of course it goes viral. Flambae had just been trying to check Robbo was okay after a tough fight, but the truth apparently doesn't matter. The truth doesn't sell tabloids. Instead, the internet is flooded with theories of Mecha Man and 'Ex-Con' Flambae's relationship, and every time they go out on a mission together, swarms of reporters try to get them to give a statement.
The rest of the team thinks it's hilarious. Robert, meanwhile is being surprisingly good about it and has been like coaching him on how to deal with the paparazzi. It's kinda nice actually.
He's not falling for Mecha Man though, no matter what the media says!

Summary
Robert thought the hardest part of working at SDN was dispatching unstable heroes and preventing city-wide disasters from a chair.
He was wrong.
When SDN hires a new emergency dispatcher, Robert recognizes him immediately as the neighbor who disappeared in his childhood.
Most people don't notice anything wrong.
But Prism does.
The team begins to suspect the new dispatcher isn't just a bad memory.
He's a threat.
And this time, Robert isn't the only one who sees it.

Royd's remark about his apartment looking like a serial killer's all those months ago didn't seem all that funny now. Not when every local news station in Los Angeles proclaimed the same, next to a mug shot of Robert's face.
Robert Robertson, serial killer. Hero killer.

Or: Robert gets framed for murder. As if being hunted down by half the hero community isn't bad enough, no one at SDN even seems to remember knowing him.

Or, Roberts cornered by an abusive Ex, and tells the man that Flambae is his boyfriend, hoping that's enough to get away from the awkward situation,

A mysterious power-outage and some strange (even for Torrance) calls should be nothing for the team of heroes that took down Shroud and the Red Ring last month. Unfortunately, something stalking the dark halls of the SDN office seems to want the Z-Teams' dispatcher dead.
Their dispatcher who is far more concerned with solving tonight's mystery than with his own safety.
. . . It's gonna be a long shift.
