Summary
When Sirius Black boarded the train to Hogwarts for his 7th year, he expected a year of mischief and fun; hoped that this was the year he finally met his soulmate. What he never expected was to meet the woman of his dreams. If only he could ever remember hearing her name. He knew he interacted with her; in classes, in hallways, the library, the common room. The sheer fact that they were in the same year and house made anything else impossible. But he never remembered it. It confused him, befuddled him. Above all, he finds himself drawn to her for reasons that he cannot explain, cannot remember.
They lost. They lost the Battle for Hogwarts and Harry Potter was dead. In the wake of the madness that followed, Hermione Granger found herself dragged to the recently destroyed Room of Requirement and thrown in.
