Summary
Mike wasn’t sure what kind of God he had pissed off, but he knew the bastard had a wicked sense of humor.
It started with one drink. Just one. Harvey had been in a rare good mood after winning a case that shouldn’t have been winnable, and Mike had been riding shotgun on the victory. The bar was expensive, the whiskey smoother than anything Mike could afford, and Harvey was smiling. Not the smirk, not the tight, professional curve of his mouth, but a real smile. Relaxed. Genuine. It should have been a red flag.
"So, you ever box?" Harvey asked, swirling the amber liquid in his glass.

Summary
"It’s a checklist," Harvey said, his tone half-amused, half-disbelieving.
"A checklist?" Mike repeated.
"Yeah," Harvey said, shaking his head. "Looks like something I wrote when I was a kid. A list of things my ‘perfect partner’ should have. I think it was supposed to be a ’fun’ school assignment?"
Mike’s face lit up. "Oh, you have to read that out loud."
Harvey gave him a look. "It’s ridiculous."
"All the more reason," Mike said, grinning. "Come on, Harvey. Enlighten me. What did Tiny Harvey want in a partner?"

Summary
At this point, it was about principle.
Harvey refused to break first.
Mike, the little shit, was clearly waiting for him to snap.
But Harvey? Harvey Specter? He had willpower.
So what if Mike was subtly taking over his condo? So what if his things were creeping into every room?
He was not going to give in.
No matter how insanely good it felt to wake up every morning with Mike in his bed, in his space, in his life.
That was not the point.
The point was winning.
And Harvey was not going to lose.

Summary
Harvey Specter doesn’t do emotions. He does control. He does power. He does winning. But he doesn’t do emotions, not the messy kind, not the kind that sneak up on you in the middle of the night and certainly not the kind that make you break down in front of someone else.
That’s why, when Mike—brilliant, irritating, loyal Mike—wraps his arms around him in the doorway of his condo at one in the morning, Harvey expects to do what he always does. Brush it off. Laugh. Crack a joke. Something.
Except he doesn’t.
Instead, something inside him breaks.
