This is based off my previous MiniMoni fic, but this questions what would happen if Namjoon DIDN'T reciprocate Jimin's feelings.
Jimin is an Omega with a scent insecurity due to how subtle his is. He's also best friends with Namjoon, an Alpha whose thick scent wraps around and clings to everything, including Jimin’s heart. He’s held onto his secret for years, and he can't think of any reason for him to let go of it, now. Except secrets don't protect anyone, and Jimin's heart can still be broken.

And Jimin thought he had mentally prepared himself for the chance of this boy being handsome, but he really wasn’t prepared for him to be this attractive. His hair is disheveled like he just got out of bed or as if he ran here, but he’s pushed it back off his forehead in a way that makes it look decidedly not at all bad. His eyes are big and bright and his lips stretch into a cute smile as he bows to Jimin in greeting. He has soft features like his lips, nose, and front teeth that offset very strong details like his eyebrows and sharp jaw. It’s a combination that works better than it should and it has Jimin stunned for how attracted he is to this omega just at first glance.

Namjoon has suffered from heat sickness for as long as he can remember. He’s tried all the traditional remedies, but nothing has helped. It’s a lot to ask for an alpha that has the stamina to last five to seven days.
As a last resort, Namjoon decides to reserve a room at HOTS Hotel, a heat hotel with an alpha that specializes in omegas with difficult heats.

When the first total eclipse happened, Jimin and Yoongi had been set on a journey to a specific spot, where the point of the eclipse would take place, to be joined together just as the sun and moon would be. The cave was in the middle of a dense forest, taking Jimin seven days to find it.
Heart pounding, head swimming, Jimin didn’t know what to expect when he set foot into the cave.
But the moment he met a pair of golden eyes the color of molten lava and ran his fingertips along the freshly burned skin on his chest bearing the mark of the sun, he understood. He understood that this tragically designed love would be the only thing he would ever have to live for.

Namjoon's voice is so deep, Jungkook gives in to the urge to close his eyes, tipping his head back slightly to expose more of his throat like his instincts want him to. He can't see whatever expression crosses Namjoon's face if he notices, but there's a long pause before the alpha continues, "I get the impression that it won't really feel like a punishment to you, huh?"
Jungkook gets in trouble and insists that the head alpha — who he also happens to have a crush on — punish him the traditional way: with a spanking.
