Jeongguk sat in stunned silence, his face a mask of shock and grief. Then, slowly, his expression hardened. "Get out," he said, his voice low and dangerous.
"Jeongguk, please-"
"I said get out!" Jeongguk shouted, his hands gripping the armrests of his wheelchair so tightly his knuckles turned white. "Just... leave me alone. I can't... I can't deal with this right now."
Heartbroken, Jimin retreated from the room. He leaned against the wall in the hallway, sliding down until he was sitting on the floor, muffling his sobs with his hand. How had everything gone so wrong? How could he fix this?
