Without a doubt, one of the best Fili/OC fics I’ve come across in years. Tightly executed with solid characterisations and an elaboration on the world-building that feels comfortable - not overstuffed. Truly a testament to the writer and fandom’s love that gems like this are still being shared, and I’m so happy I get to look forward to revisiting this one in future. (Shout out to Ed Sheeran’s Loop tour playing ‘I See Fire’ as he always does, and like clockwork: reigniting the love once more!)

^ 11 Sep 2018Stumbled across this again and was left thinking about it throughout the day… I tried to leave kudos and a bookmark only to find I had already done both. Eight years ago. Funny how some things change and some stay the same. I’m glad I left this bookmark way back then. I still love this version of Percy and Annabeth, I look forward to rediscovering it again.
