Summary
There is always a sense of wonder when one reaches theirs goals, especially if said goals seemed impossible. Getting revenge after a lifetime of wrong, standing at the top of a company after starting as a janitor. Accomplishing such things leaves one soaring high in their lives until a single question blindsides them.
What now?
That was the question that plagued the Lamb after his triumph over heretics and death alike. His cult thrived and expanded, his word second to none and his reign absolute over the land. Yet countless years spent nurturing and appeasing his flock has left him weary and eager for an opportunity to forego his responsibilities for the briefest of moments. The Lamb knew this was nigh impossible, for what cult could function without a leader? Despite knowing this, he still prayed for a break from his taxing work.
Until one day, his prayers were answered in the form of a weathered grimoire.

Hornet's upset expression gives way for a very concerned one. "Did you..." she starts, but doesn't want to say it out loud. "What is the last thing you remember?"
Lace looks up at her, trying to read her face. Her eyes seem to flicker nervously, taking small, shallow breaths. Her gaze wanders to the floor. "I..." She opens her mouth to say something, but it doesn't come out. Then she tries again. "After- after our battle. In the Deep Docks. You won in our duel and I- The Citadel. I went back to the Citadel."
Hornet looks her in the eyes, trying to find a sign, any sign, that this was a joke. A horrible, cruel joke, but just a joke nonetheless. But there is none of Lace's telltale signs when she lies to be found on her face. "You do not... remember our confrontation at the flower field either, then."

Silksong Post-Act 3 aftermath, but with the twist that Lace has no memory of the events between the midpoint of Act 1 to the end of Act 3.

Summary
Finally! After laying in bed and being cared for night and day by their
alliesfriendsfamily—finally Siffrin has been deemed recovered and 'stable' enough to get back on the road. They've had plenty of hugs and excruciatingly vulnerable but necessary (necessary!!!) feelings talky-talks while laid up in bed in Dormont, but they finally left the town and that blinding House behind feeling not completely terrible!That is, until a familiar, yet entirely unwelcome feeling begins gnawing on their insides after its long absence and knocks them right back into bed. After assuring their family it's not, in fact, their craft exhaustion causing their current problems, Siffrin confides in Mirabelle over these mysterious pains that have been following them for half their life.
AKA: Doctors suck, intersex Siffrin has had enough of their bullcrab, and he and Mirabelle have a nice long feelings talky-talk about their right to not Change.
