Charlie wasn’t what he himself would call happy, but he had a stable job, so he wouldn’t complain. And honestly, ten-hour days weren’t all that bad. What else would he spend his time on, otherwise? So he was fully expecting to continue his career, in one form or another, until retirement.
Then he died. In his own home, in his own bed.
Only afterwards, now with far more arms and a strange relationship with gravity, did he start panicking.
Not quite alive again and in a place he’s never heard of, Charlie isn’t sure what to make of a world he hadn’t thought of in more than a decade. Really, he’s lucky to be where he is. After all, if he’s never heard of Almia that means nothing bad happens there, right?

Summary
Leaving the safety of her hidden commune, a Ralts narrowly avoids capture on Hoenn Route 102. Finding a discarded pokeball, she ventures into the human world only to discover that her home is in danger from Humanity's rapid expansion. Old Ben Kenobi abides by Owen’s wishes and doesn’t teach Luke to use the Force.
But he accidentally ends up teaching other things, starting with Mon Calamari legends, and moving on through the languages, histories, and cardgames of the galaxy. The Jedi, after all, taught so much more than just how to swing a lightsaber, or even their own philosophies.
Luke loves to learn. He soaks up information like a sponge, and makes brilliant deductions, but sometimes those leaps of logic might be… a little bit off. Like when he decides that Ben is obviously Mandalorian.
