Alternate happy S4 ending where no one gets left alone, not really. It starts directly after the last scene.
I got destroyed (and slightly frustrated) by Journey's End, so I made up the best solution I could think of to get a proper, satisfying happy ending. I really wanted an additional scene with the metacrisis Doctor, to show us it's really the same person. -

“Oh,” she says. “I like this dream.”
“Funny that, I don't remember falling asleep," he says, and the voice isn't the familiar tenor from lazy days in their apartment or warm summers on the planet of her choice. Nor is it a comforting, if not gruff, northern accent that she still hears at the supermarket or on the edge of bad dreams tinged in gold and red.
It's warm and young and Rose is suddenly terrified of turning around.
