Summary
Tim was 8 years old when he was orphaned. His parents were not dead, but they had fled the country, leaving him behind. Tim, who had no home or family to return to, had slowly gotten used to his life. The first time he thought he could have a family again was when he started working with the bats. But it had been drilled into his mind that they were all just his coworkers, he had been taught over and over again that he had no one and his place. Everyone had taught him that he was an employee, a substitute, a placeholder.
When he brought Bruce back, he had limited the time he spent with them to just preparing for patrols and reporting after patrols, and going to the cave where he went to get first aid in case of injury. He was slowly preparing to withdraw from his lawless life, or at least separate himself from the bats completely. But he didn't know that no one was planning to leave him, on the contrary, they would cling to him like a leech.

Summary
As Tim is beginning to settle into life in Blüdhaven, going back to school, and assisting with patrol in the evening. Thing finally feel some kind of normal.
Then he get news that his parents are out on bail and want to see him again.

Darla makes a face at the reminder, “Ugh, don’t remind me traitor, moving to Blüdhaven! How could you!”
“I don’t think he had much say in the matter.” Bernard joins them on the way to class, “Ives is sick by the way, I don’t know if you saw the group chat already.”
“I haven’t.” Tim confirms, he’d fallen asleep pretty quickly in the car and hadn’t checked the chat that morning. “Is it just a cold or?”
“Just a cold.” Bernard states. “He’s okay.”
“Good.” Tim quickly side steps a couple boys racing down the halls.
“Did you hear the news yet?” Darla asks, “Your parents made bail.”
Tim nods, Dick had told him as soon as he’d gotten the news. “Yeah I’ve known for a couple days.”
“What happens now?” Bernard asks. “Like do you go back? Are you going to have to see them?”
“I’m not going back.” Tim states, his pulse speeding up at the thought.

Mydei climbs into the bath first to test the temperature of the water, somehow managing to do it gracefully even as a lion.
Having acquired a feline aversion to water, Anaxa doesn’t follow, ears flattened back where he sits a foot away from the tub, eyeing it warily.
The lion croons patiently down at the mint cat in persuasion, large paws draped over the side of the tub. The mint cat meows back at him, reluctant.
Phainon doesn’t clutch at his chest, even though his heart is about to palpitate out of his ribcage screaming CUTE CUTE CUTE—
He leans against the counter for support. While the two are preoccupied, he sends a photo to Castorice.
Phainon: Call the paramedics.

Todo mientras intenta negar desesperadamente tener la misma tendencia de enamorarse del protagonista como su papá Dokja
