Summary
Sam, after having nightmares of drowing in the Sea of Simulation, returns to the Grid with one goal in mind: rescuing Tron from where he had sank after that final race to get to the portal.
He doesn't expect to be given any more reasons to return. He didn't even think he wanted to come back. He wasn't his father, and the Grid wasn't his passion project. He owed it nothing.
How wrong he ends up being.

Summary
The world and its occupants suffered as the apocalypse ruined their peaceful lives. They were at their wits end when Damon and Bonnie worked out a ritual to travel back in time.
The only problem was that only one person could go through with it. Since Damon was the only one who could withstand the massive magical waves, he went back in time.
It wasn't like he had much to lose. He had lost his brother and most of his friends, simply because they were blind and followed the whims of a teenager. There wasn't a day Damon regretted falling for the allure of the Petrova doppelganger.
He set out with determination to protect his brother, Stefan. He wanted to be a good brother and a good friend. He thought he could do this.
He also had an apocalypse to stop. But will he succeed when he started to develop feelings for most unexpected people ? He didn't have the time to be distracted from his mission.
