Jason’s mind was reeling. “Someone can see us?”
He’d tried everything he could think of to get Bruce and Alfred’s attention since he became a ghost. But even physically floating through their bodies hadn’t elicited a response.
She laughed. “Crazy, ain’t it? I don’t know if he’s a meta or what, but all the ghosts are talking about him.”
If there was someone out there who could see ghosts… then maybe…
Jason had to find him. “Who is he?”
“He’s known by many names… Veil Walker… Reaper… Half-Pint.”
Jason sputtered. “Half-Pint??”
“That’s the wildest shit. It’s a kid. Like a middle schooler.” Delilah threw out one of her hands. “And he’s out here wandering Gotham every night and chatting up the dead.”
Jason could only stare at her. Processing. A kid who could see ghosts... What was this? The Sixth Sense: Gotham edition??

Summary
Damian was born a twin. A twin he never told his family in Gotham about. Partly because he didn’t want to put his Father through the emotions of realizing he’d lost another child. Partly out of his own selfish desire to have something: His twin was his reflection and his opposite, more defiant, more kind. And weaker. When his twin’s health issues became apparent when they were. Danny was quickly disposed.
Which now made the current situation incredibly difficult to deal with. As now every time Damian is alone outside of the manor, Danny is there. Same age and looking even more like their Father. At first, Damian ignored the hallucinations of his dead twin. Chalking it up to sleep deprivation. Though when they continued after he fixed his sleep schedule; he gave in. The two of them talk and act like normal teenagers. It’s clear to Damian that the hallucinations are a way for him to cope with the loss of his twin since he was never given the chance to grieve. But now Damian has to grapple with how to tell his family about his dead twin since almost all of them have stumbled upon him during a hallucination, only for Danny disappear the instance they’re interrupted.
