Summary
Jim finds out Oswald is still involved with the mob in what may be the worst way possible.
One of Oswald's rivals for the control of Gotham's underworld senses weakness and takes Jim as a bargaining chip. Too bad he didn't learn what happens when you hurt the people Oswald loves.
But the damage is done, and now Oswald doesn't know if his relationship with Jim can survive this trial, though he'll settle for Jim surviving at all.

Summary
Jim Gordon leads a peaceful life these days, running Poison Ivy with Ivy and Selina. It's not what he envisioned for himself, but it's a good life and no one is shooting at him.
Enter Mayor Oswald Cobblepot. While looking for flowers to send a particular message to Edward's new girlfriend, he strikes up an unlikely friendship with Jim. Conversations over flowers turns into texting during the day and late night phone calls. Jim knows it's a bad idea, but can't deny that he's starting to get a crush on Oswald.
And then Oswald asks Jim to pretend to be his boyfriend.

Summary
Gotham had its moments - like when it was the first day of the New Year and the sky was alight with fireworks, the loud cheers of the crowd as green, blue and red dazzled across the dark blue hue of night, or the time when the streets were covered in a thin sheet of white snow despite it being a tad bit early for winter, and the city lights glowing golden and welcoming in contrast as people huddled together, sharing warmth and exchanging smiles, the hoods of their jackets pulled over their heads.

Summary
Oswald fully expects Jim to have left, perhaps even before the sun came up, regretful and disgusted with himself, unable to face the man beside him. Hell, even Jim expected that.
Yet the warm body pressed beside him and the arm slung round his shoulders, pulling him in, suggests that isn't the case at all.
