The car went silent.
Beatrice peeked at Wirt. Then she reached to the radio and turned up the volume. She began to quietly sing the lyrics. Her voice came out exactly the way Wirt was feeling; shaky and nervous. "Hey, little songbird, let me guess...he's some kind of poet and he's penniless..."
Wirt threw his head back, a long cry leaving his lips. "Oh my god!"

Wirt's favorite pastime was writing poetry. He wrote about many things; the weather, his brother's tutor, the boy who always seemed to smell like the forest, the boy who sits next to him in his creative writing class, the boy he's been in love with since the second he saw him, oh and not to mention Dipper Pines.
His biggest muse.
