Summary
That soothing, melodic voice, that's all he needs to knock him out cold. It became a nightly routine to fall asleep with a playlist of his videos on loop, struggling to find any source of comfort without it. Most times he never got to actually watch the videos, though he'd sometimes cast a glance over to the glow of his phone, and that same gorgeous face would be there.

"Thanos," he says, louder this time, and Su-bong's head snaps upward, and the blade drops to the floor with a sharp clink, small drops of blood dotting the tile. For several drawn out moments, neither of them move. Nam-gyu remains in the doorway, eyes wide and mouth agape, and Su-bong remains huddled in the corner, matching his expression to a T.
But finally, Nam-gyu snaps out of it, and when he takes a step forward, Su-bong recoils harshly, like a wounded animal. His unscathed arm flies upward, almost as if to shield him from potential harm.
"Thanos," Nam-gyu repeats, almost inaudibly. "Honey. Hey— hey, don't— none of that." With a hint of caution, Nam-gyu steps forward some more, leaving the bottles on the counter. He kneels down in front of Su-bong, grabbing his wrist with as much gentleness as he can muster and pulling it down and toward him.

Rule #2 of being high: do not make impulse purchases (unless it’s food or more drugs).
Rule #3 of being high: do not hook up with your night shift manager. (It will get you fired from your job, which will then result in you getting very high to cope, which leads to breaking rules 1 and 2, and then turns into a series of strange events that will have you questioning your sanity again.)
Kim Nam-gyu broke all three of those rules within a span of 48 hours.

.Nam-gyu buys a "book" while high out of his mind and ends up making a "deal with the devil" aka a conventionally attractive purple demon wearing a skin-tight body suit that doesn't leave much to the imagination. He quickly learns the consequences of his actions, though he is not as upset about it as he should be.
As the months pass and their relationship develops, both face the harsh reality of their situation. Thanos was here to provide Nam-gyu with sex, supposed to have no strings attached. But now, hundreds of small strings are holding them together, pulling them impossibly closer in a way that could lead them both to certain death.

His current girlfriend, Nam-gyu never cared to learn her name, and had somehow managed to stick around the man for the last six months. He had seen pictures of her on the rapper’s profile, always glued to his side and plastering her bright lipstick all over his cheek. Blissful happiness, unaware of the way Thanos was staring at Nam-gyu in their rundown motel room.
“I missed you,” Thanos breathed out, his body rocking as he waited for any indication that he could approach and touch Nam-gyu, “Fuck. You look so beautiful."
Nam-gyu laughed, looking down at his outfit of choice. It was nothing special, ripped jeans and a shirt that he couldn’t remember washing, far from beautiful.
“You missed me?” Nam-gyu hummed, cocking his head to the side as he slowly approached Thanos, “How much?”
