When you’re drowning, you fight for the surface, even if you know it’s futile, even if there is no hope. Your body will fight for air on instinct.
It was a fact of Penny Parker’s life. One day, he would finally drown her. Each time the waves would knock her down and she would wonder if this was finally it.
That’s the thing about the ocean - it’s relentless.

Peter Parker is a trans, gay, teenage vigilante. Not many people can say that. Not many people can say they are close with Tony fucking Stark either.
Ever since the blip was reversed, him and Tony have gotten a whole lot closer. He even jokingly calls the man "mom" sometimes when he starts exhibiting 'mother hen behavior" as Peter likes to call it.
But there's one thing that Peter's been hiding from Tony for a while now. It's the fact that he's trans. And gay. He's wanted to tell the man, but he's not sure how his mentor feels about LGBTQ+ and is too scared to ask.
So he decides that he won't tell him. At least not until he knows for sure that Tony won't kick him out of his life when he does.
He can't bear to lose another father figure.
But the thing is, he's a Parker. Parkers have the worst luck in the history of the universe. So naturally, after an unfortunate encounter with Flash, his decision goes so far down the drain, that it's like it never existed.OR
Peter wants to tell Tony that he's gay and trans, but doesn't know how. Tony finds out in the most unfortunate way possible.

sometimes, packages meant for peter would show up on tony’s doorstep. which was perfectly alright with him.
the trouble was, tony often wasn’t given forewarning on whether a package was sent to him on purpose to be hidden from may, or just because he had submitted the wrong billing address
so when a small to medium sized box with peter’s name on it arrived one monday afternoon whilst he was down in the lab with said teen, he didn’t hesitate to have it sent over.
A.K.A tony trying his hardest to be peter's mentor in all things- including teenage sexuality blues
