Summary
With a wounded ego after begging Rosie for help and shattering his reputation by surrendering to Vox, Alastor fucks up his relationship with Charlie and the Hazbin Hotel and is left alone, powerless, severely wounded and without a place to go.
Help comes from an unexpected source: Vox, who, on his way to rebuild his life and image after his public breakdown, has learned a thing or two about the importance of a friend helping you in your darkest moment.
What follows is a reluctant cohabitation that brings old power dynamics back into play and forces the two demons to face old resentments, long-buried feelings and new challenges.

Vincent looked him up and down warily, but accepted his hand. He gripped it tightly, and gave it a strong tug, just like his father had taught him. “I’m Vincent.” He deepened his voice just a smidge. 'You can always tell a real man apart from a daisy just from his handshake', his father always said.
Alastor gave a slight giggle in response, seemingly amused by the bizarre greeting. Vincent still wasn’t sure if he was laughing at him or if he just laughed at everything. He found he didn’t care that much either way, now that his initial anger had passed. Alastor had a nice laugh.
