Shane closed his eye and said, “I didn’t mean me but actually yes. You need to find someone discreet if you want to date or fuck around. People will want to exploit you. Don’t let them. Even people you’ve known your whole life will turn on you.”
“What is your ulterior motive then?” Ilya asked. He wanted to move his hand lower, next to Shane’s body but he held off.
Shand licked his lips, let his gaze roam over Ilya’s body. “No ulterior motive, I want to make you money, I want to do a good job.”
“Mister Businessman.”
“Sure, whatever.”
“You think I’m talented.” It was not a question.
Shane rolled his eyes, “I know you’re talented. I don’t represent untalented people.”
Ilya is a model trying to break into the acting world and Shane is the PR manager trying to help him with his career. Shane is a former actor who felt forced to give up his career and Ilya wants to be taken seriously, especially by Shane. 3 month temporary contract, what could go wrong? -

The man, Rozanov, sneers, clearly unhappy with the number. He waves off the judges with his hat before stalking out of the rodeo arena. It’s a damn good score for a bareback bronco. Since coming to watch the event, the highest of the night that Shane’s seen so far.
