Summary
Ian Gallagher never asked to be abducted by a roguish, grumpy, and suspiciously human-looking alien. And he doesn't know if he has lost his mind when the brooding Star Knight explains that Ian is supposed to be the messiah of an alien civilization all because of a retro arcade game.
Mickey Milkovich is the son of the last Messiah and the last thing he wants to do is travel to his mother's home planet to doom another person to her fate. Not that he is given a choice. But a simple retrieval mission soon becomes something more personal when he meets the bewildered redhead.
