Hagrid turned to Effie then, face softening somewhat as he took her in. “Look at me, Effie.” She lifted her eyes to his only somewhat reluctantly. “Listen, right? What they aren’t tellin’ yeh—it’s not right, it’s not.”
Effie nodded when it became clear Hagrid wasn’t going to continue without a response from her first.
Hagrid took a deep breath, looked her right in the eyes, and said, “Effie—yer a witch.”
A moment passed, and then two. The only sound was the crackle of the fire.
She pinched her elbow.
Hagrid stayed where he was, eyes still full of kindness, revelation hanging in the air between them.
She wasn’t dreaming, was she?

Mark growled grumpily when he heard someone knocking on his door. He knew that the hotel's reception had called minutes before to let him know that Sebastian was coming up to his room, but he still felt unwilling to get out of bed to answer the door.
He doesn't meet those familiar blue eyes when he opens the door, actually, he sees a boy standing in the hallway with a backpack on his back and looking at him with intense brown eyes.
Mark bends down and speaks in a calmer voice, imagining that he is the son of some fan who got lost inside the hotel. “Hi, buddy. Do you need help finding your parents?” He notices that the boy is holding a piece of paper in his hand, but no pen. “Or do you want an autograph?”
The boy raises an eyebrow and shows that the paper is actually a birth certificate.
“You are my dad”

The McLaren driver tries to shake his surprise. He crouches down to be more at eye level with the boy. “Where did you see her last?” he asks. The kid just shrugs. He looks close to tears.

They traveled over the River of Space, Time, and reality itself. Now, with all three Hollows and his godson murdered, Harry's life is threatened once again. But this time Death is sick and tired of watching the last descendent of his favorite family suffer over and over again. This time Balerion and his wife Meleys will make Harry a deal.
Trade this life for another. One where he can even have Teddy back in his arms. The catch? He has to become she, Birth Teddy as her own, and stop death's OTHER favorite family from killing one another and all their dragons.
As the life of Harry Potter ends, the life of Haelemys the healer begins.
