“You’re right, I need to win,” Sonic stated cheekily, flashing Shadow a smile, trying to push Shadow’s arms in opposite directions but Shadow didn’t allow him.
“No, you don’t, Sonic,” Shadow replied, “You need the chase. You need the escape.”
“Stop talking,” Sonic mumbled, fighting against Shadow harder, only making Shadow struggle more against him.
“The race isn’t the escape, Sonic, I am.”

Summary
What if instead of Ford, Stanley was the one who got sucked into the portal. How would Stan have survived in the multiverse? How would of Ford reacted? Would Ford also reactivate his portal just to get his brother back? Or would the safety of humanity overcome his love for his brother? And how would this affect his adventures with his future great nephew and niece?

Summary
