After defeating Shroud, life at SDN continued as normal as it could for Robert. The Z-Team made great strides each day on becoming a real, formidable team of superheroes. Robert occasionally took the Mecha Man suit out on missions and continued his work as a dispatcher. Beef started a new healthy dog food at the recommendation of his vet. Robert ordered some more furniture for his apartment. Everything was looking up. Robert could lock all of his feelings in a little box and bury it deep inside of him. It was fine.
He just didn’t know it would grow flowers.

He must learn how to survive as his only link home is shattered. Being babysat by a fox demon isn't that much fun nor is being kidnapped then trapped in the world of demons where bearers are rare among several species.
