Summary
Look, I know Hayden Pike doesn't go to the All Stars Game in Florida, but let's all pretend he did and he was that year's "Fan Favorite" voted to go. I don't know, I don't follow the NHL or MHL haha. This is inspired by the pool scene in the book and from Shane's worry that the kids were laughing so hard that one of them might drown. Everyone ends up ok, this is not a sad pic but read the tags. I tagged child neglect just because a child drowned and neither of the parents noticed. Tag might be harsh. Also timeline is wonky, Amber is an infant in this story even though in the book she hasn't been born yet.
If child drownings are triggering for you please protect yourself and don't read. Also I wrote this manically in one sitting.

Summary
This is my very first Fanfic I've ever posted so give me some grace. I have this idea of Ilya's niece in Russia being outed as a lesbian as a teenager and her parents are trying to force her to go to a Conversion Therapy and she refuses and runs away to her uncle Ilya because she has no one else to turn to. That's all I got so far. Also the niece needs a name, lets call her (Katya) and she txts and speaks in Russian primarily and she knows very little English.

“He likes it,” Jarek lisps. His smile is a bloody ruin, but it's triumphant. His eyes are fixed on Shane with a hunger that should revolt him, but instead makes the heat burning inside him flame higher. Makes him want to get on all fours and present. “He's mine now. So fuck off, Rozanov.”

“What are you talking about? You got this all wrong.” He took a step back from the intimidating Alpha who showed his evil grin.
“I’m never wrong baby.”
“Don’t call me that!”
“But I like calling you that. Or do you like kitten more? I like calling you that too, yes.”
“You are calling me nothing! Whatever you thought, it’s not it. Forget about it.”
The Alpha clicked his tongue. “Ah, so you do not mind if I tell the doctor my concern about you…right?” Ilya said lowly.
“W-What?”
“I mean if there really is nothing wrong then you shouldn’t worry.” The corner of his mouth turns up almost evilly.
“Rosanov.”
“I mean Omegas in sports are forbidden as it can be dangerous. I definitely do not want my Omega to be in danger.” He walks towards him almost predatorily, eyes darkened.
“Rosanov, no please…”
“But I know hockey is your life. The passion, I can see it in your eyes, you are great at it, kitten. I respect it but I will keep your secret on one condition.”
