Too scared to want anything that would be inconvenient for anyone else.” She smiles a little wider. “And that’s what everyone liked about me, in the end.”

    Marcille inhales sharply. “Falin—”

    “But now, I don’t care. As much, anyway. I like this. I like wanting things and being honest about it. I like being strong and scary sometimes.” She digs her nails into the back of her own neck, relishing the sting. “I think I like it more than I like being liked.”

Will Hawkeye's past not ruffle anymore feathers with the life he's trying to rebuild? Will (y/n) do more harm than good when her and the Avengers have to work together for the sake of their friend? Perhaps a certain Black Widow will suddenly struggle with the new company in the best way possible.

    Set after Blip, no one died. But Clint still became Ronin. Reader is female version of loosely based Nightwing ((Y/N) Grayson) from DC and has history with Clint from childhood. Both were in the Gotham Circus as kids before going their separate ways. She also had a part in him becoming Ronin years later, something that clashes with the family he has now in his life.
