    Довольно разговорчивый, но своенравный Сенфорд в паре с незатыкающимся Деймосом колесят по Неваде и жизни в попытке жить, а не существовать. Ежедневные задания, будь то миссия или попытка Сенфорда побыть в тишине, систематически нарушаются и усложняются вездесущим Деймосом, которому буквально некуда себя деть. Но не будем судить его слишком строго. Он не знает, как надо.

    Работа централизуется вокруг додумки о том, что Деймос — клон, с ворохом специфических физиологических потребностей и набором ментальных неровностей, связанных с его неестественным происхождением.
