Summary
After being cast aside by Mystra, it never occurred to Gale to petition *other* gods for assistance with his... problem. Imagine his surprise when one reaches out to him, offer in hand.
Take care of one little vampire spawn, and the Orb is gone, just like that. It almost seems too good to be true.
Assuming, of course, that the wizard has the stomach to do what's required.

Summary
Something was wrong.
Butters couldn’t tell at first exactly what was wrong, but he felt it, sitting sour in the pit of his stomach and rising up like bitter bile at the back of his throat.

Summary
Butters gives him a wide, open smile that makes Kenny’s heart melt. It’s one filled with pure joy, decorated with a slight flush to the cheeks and the heaving of chest. His eyes crinkle together, making his cheeks full and even redder.
Kenny decided at that moment that he would do anything, anything if it meant Butters could smile like that for the rest of time.
Even if that meant letting him go.

Summary
Pulling back, Stan stares at him. It lasts for a moment before he bursts out into laughter. “I like that.”
“Like what?” Kyle asked, noticing that Stan’s hair had grown longer, a little more unkept. He must’ve freshly shaved today, Kyle smells the citrus of his aftershave. They haven’t been apart for very long, but it felt like an eternity. This was proof that it wasn’t.
“How you talk to me like it isn’t the first time we’ve spoken in weeks.”

Summary
""I'm sorry." Kyle breathes, the words quiet and meant for only Stan to hear. "I didn't realize so much changed so fast."
He grimaces. Stan knows exactly what he means and how he means it, and he hurts. He knows that despite all he's said, he's the only one who's changed, and that he's the biggest fucking hypocrite to date. It's wrong of him to get upset at Kyle for his own problems: he's the one who's preaching change and pushing every one of his friends away. Stan is the one who refuses to hang out after school, who never responds to texts, and the one who keeps his secrets to himself.
Still, he places his hands above Kyle's own and keeps them in their place. He's a selfish, indecisive man, and he knows it. Of course he's changed, the younger Stan would have held Kyle closer to him and poured his heart out in his ear, explaining everything and exactly how it was all wrong."
OR; Stan visits Kyle and they finally talk. They spend the night and the next morning together, hopefully for longer, too.

Summary
What the hell happened.
“… just gotta breathe, they’ll get you out, they always – always get you out –“
“Hardison,” Eliot whispered. Pain lanced through his head, down his side, his leg, something heavy pinning him to the cold concrete floor. His mouth was dry, tacky, and his eyelids felt too heavy to move. The babbling continued, Hardison’s voice stuttering softly, not seeming to have heard him.
“ – they’re okay, they know – know you’re here –“
Eliot licked his lips, ignoring the faint taste of blood, and tried again.
“Hardison.”
Trapped in a collapsed building, an injured Eliot and panicking Hardison do what they can to keep each other alive, safe, and whole.
