Summary
It’s a fucking miracle that Buck finds Chris after he falls off the truck and he nearly sobs with relief when the water finally recedes enough that he can plant his feet on solid ground. Buck holds Christopher tight with one arm, his free hand still clutched around the pole he’d held onto as the water had rushed around them, unable to let go just yet.

“Hey, Chris,” Buck says and rests a hand on his cheek, smiling as brightly as he can. “You have to keep going without me.”
“What?” he exclaims. “No!”
“Chris, listen to me-”
“No! I’m not leaving you!” As if to drive the point home he tips forward and holds onto Buck as tightly as he can.

Leon almost sputters. He opens his mouth, then closes it again like he doesn’t have an answer for that. His eyes flick up to Luis’s face, drop to his lips, and then flash back up to his eyes in the matter of a second. There’s something dark in them. Something wanting. Unsure, but wanting.“You know, there are other ways to let off a little steam besides shooting,” Luis says matter of factly, leaning forward, testing the waters. The knife falls to the floor, forgotten.

Summary
After surviving the massacre at Arklay Mountain, Chris escapes from hell only to run into its fucking twin when he finds out that the virus has already spread to Raccoon City. Hoping to find his sister, he goes back to the Raccoon Police City Department only for him to run into rookie cop, Leon S. Kennedy. With both dead set on finding Claire and getting the hell out of the city, the two immediately partner up and promise themselves to get through this. Only problem is: This Is Hell and They Can't Leave.
