or: Akutagawa is regretting his whole existence, purpose and value as an artist, and Atsushi is there to call him a fool, help pick up the pieces and stitch them back together.

“You know that you don't have to work yourself to the grave, right?” a raspy voice murmured close behind him. He felt the soft brush of lips on his ear accompany it and wanted nothing more but to melt at the touch and let Akutagawa carry him to bed.
Atsushi let out a long sigh. “I'm just trying to plan out the layouts tonight so I don't have to panic the night before the jury.”
“You also know you say that every time and you still end up panicking, yes?”
“Okay, excuse me, I meant ‘panic too much’.”
or: Atsushi is going through the hell path of all-nighters before his architecture projects submission deadline and his loving artist boyfriend is there to keep him sane, possibly.
