“It just happened,” she repeated with a mocking voice. “You literally blew him in a gym under the bleachers like some kind of feral animal and then sat through ramen with him talking about basketball like nothing changed. You two are literally fucking each other with your eyes and hands and mouths but you can’t even properly talk about feelings?”
He shrugged because arguing felt pointless when she was right. “Talking’s harder.”

The rules of courting an omega were simple.
1. Present a general item. Traditional gifts include sweets, flowers, or small trinkets.
2. Gift a personal item. Modern items now include luxurious gift baskets, high-end toiletries, or even gift cards that are meaningful to the omega.
3. Offer an intimate gift. Scented articles of clothing are most common, but other more personal offerings are not unheard of.
Everyone learned these rules years before presenting and although gifts can vary slightly depending on location, most followed the same general pattern. Still, Bakugou couldn't hide the confusion he felt when found a bouquet of flowers at his doorstep. His eyes raced up to the distant footsteps. He noticed the stairway door closing and just barely caught a glimpse of red hair. Kirishima. They usually walked to class together, an unspoken tradition he shared with the alpha since their first year at UA. But now, three years later, he stood there, alone and confused. The rules of courting an omega were simple, but Bakugou wasn't an omega.
