Summary
Sanji scowls behind his sunglasses. He’s draped in heat, under an umbrella in a bright patterned shirt, large waffle with a dollop of melting whipped cream and a coffee-stained mug on the table in front of him. Further out on the patio, a whole group of screaming kids jump into the pool in sonorous succession.
“Relaxing is a scam.”
Zoro gives him one of those multilayered grumpy looks.
“It’s fraudulent. We’ve been defrauded.”
~~~
Zoro and Sanji go undercover at a fancy resort to take on a mysterious enemy. What could go wrong?
Summary
It remained to be seen what any of this would become or how long it would last, but for now it was still here, in this kitchen, with strong coffee and good pancakes and Sanji across the table looking at him like he was worth the trouble.
Summary
It didn’t stop. Noise, smell, light – all at once, relentless. His clothes felt too rough, the ground too sharp. He yanked them off, desperate to stop the scratch. Still the itch spread, fire ants beneath his skin. He clawed at the bandages, at the stitches, trying to peel the sensations away.
