When did Tenna draft these scenes? Surely he had to have known about Spamton's… fixation. Surely. Or, at least had a suspicion. What other explanation would there be for the sheer number of scenes with Tenna pinning Darkners down and shooting them point blank? Or for the scene where Tenna knocked someone out cold with the butt of the shotgun? Tenna had to have known watching that would do horrible things to Spamton. He had to.

Summary
Gideon lost. He lost hard. After his greatest plan failed so spectacularly, he returns to life, trying to rebuild the best he can. Now entirely girlfriend-less, all that’s left is his work, so he moves out to the West Coast to start work on a new Chaos Theater. It should all be so simple. All he has to do is deal with annoying shareholder interest, an excessive amount of hangovers caused by a copious number of parties, and that boring girl who won’t stop bothering him.
Oh, and the new league of frozen ex-girlfriends, out for some cold, hard, revenge.
Continuation of comic canon, but details are informed by other media.

*Standalone AU Canon Divergence fic. Most closely follows after the comics up to the end of Volume 5, but includes references to the movie and anime as well. Julie and Gideon meet in a version of events where Gideon doesn't lose his empire and Scott Pilgrim has defeated evil exes one through six.
