Summary
Taehyung learned the hard way when he was just a kid that life was really damn hard sometimes. In his case, almost always.
With an alcoholic father and absent mother, he has been taking care of four younger siblings, not knowing much else than work and constant stress. He has a great relationship with his siblings and a couple of amazing friends, but it always felt like something was missing, like he hardly ever let go and lived carefree.
Enter Jeongguk, an older, handsome guy that suddenly comes into his life and doesn’t take no for an answer. Taehyung doesn’t really know what to think and what to do with himself when Jeongguk showers him with gifts and date proposals, and when it turns out that he is actually someone who could handle Taehyung’s messy life and his siblings. But should he really let Jeongguk close? Because from his experience, most people that should have been there for him always left, so is it really worth it to risk a heartbreak that he knows will eventually come? Or will Jeongguk turn out to be different and will Taehyung finally learn to trust and love and lean on someone?
