Invited to a belated party at the Urahara shop, Ichigo comes to grips with the post-war realisation that things may have changed so much that he has nothing to offer his once-enemy.Not that Ichigo is going to let that stop him.

Summary
After the war, there is a buzz under Ichigo's skin, and an itch that he can't scratch that lasts with him for years, that aches for a fight and craves the taste of violence. Finally, after the ache has quieted, the itch is gone and his Hollow isn't pressed tight against the skin of his teeth, Ichigo settles down and finds a routine for himself in an attempt to live a normal life.
Of course, Grimmjow has other plans, and smashes straight through Ichigo's glass house of carefully crafted normality.

“Hey there,” Alec says in the lowest, sexiest voice he can manage. It sounds vaguely disinterested but some people get off on that.
“Hi,” the voice says.
“Ready to have some fun?”
The voice makes a small, sad noise.
“Or not?” Alec tries hastily. He gets paid regardless of what they're talking about. “We can just chat for a while.”
“What’s your name,” the voice says finally.
“Uh, Chad,” Alec says. He was drunk when he picked his name, just as he was drunk when he answered the job wanted ad. He should have picked something sexy like Tristan, but he’s forever Chad now, the douchiest phone sex operator in history. He balances his bowl of macaroni carefully on his stomach and sneaks a quick bite.
“You don’t sound like a Chad,” the voice says doubtfully.
“Why the hell not?” Alec says before he can stop himself, mouth full of pasta.
“--are you eating?”
“No,” Alec lies and swallows.
