Now they are both grown and set across the world on an adventure to try and save it, and each other.
(While this is a crossover fic I don't think you need to have played any Final Fantasy to enjoy it or understand it. Think MHA cast in magical fantasy setting, I should be describing things enough that a background in ffx is unnecessary. I just wanted to write a fantasy au novel and this was my take on it.)

There wasn’t a bone in his boyfriend’s body that looked like it was ready for Izuku to work him up; but, he’d never backed down from a challenge before, especially when it came to Katsuki. Izuku forced his gaze to the door of their small balcony, the late afternoon sun had given way to early evening and although the temperature had dropped a little outside it was still uncomfortably warm.
His eyes flicked from Katsuki——to the bowl of water—-then back to Katsuki again.
Izuku held back a laugh as an idea planted itself firmly in the ‘this might get me blown up’ category of his brain.
