Really cute modern AU, despite the differences from canon the characters feel both ic and ring true. This Naruko also get an A+ as a cute clumsy girl, there's no rage inducing stock trope of destroying all plates and glasses she's either under socialized or keep pushing a pull door (girl same, max relatable).

Since I found this author's Sasuke limp and lazy, this fic is so satisfying! I love it!
Naruto actually have standards and morals here, so when Sasuke is cold and distant, acting like he doesn't care for literal years Naruto does stopped wanting Sasuke and let him go (finally a rare ic portrayal!!!)
Even when Sasuke finally get his head out of his ass and deign to act like Naruto is actually worth some efforts (even more years later!), Naruto doesn't return to him. Just like the divorced women who might still have lingering affections for their neglectful husbands, long overdue efforts couldn't change their hearts and minds, it's really over and gone.
The love doesn't necessarily died, it just stop mattering

I find this author's Sasuke limp and lazy so I couldn't root for him, but I do like the character and story analysis on canon. Yes, something is inevitable because that's just who they are. That said old Sasuke is finally being active and actually putting in efforts now so I want to see how things go.
